Deutsche Bank in Manila seeks a Market and Valuation Risk Management - Valuations Senior Specialist to support 2LOD controls, valuation, and analytics in a fast-paced environment. The role encompasses MCC, ETR and Tech Vals, enabling robust, AI-enabled valuation and risk management solutions.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Front Office, 1LOD, and technology teams, delivering scalable Python-based tools, data pipelines, and automated reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math/statistics/finance or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets products and regulatory environment.
• Experience in programming or data analytics preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Market Conformity Controller identifies and escalates potential off-market exceptions to Front Office and other key stakeholders.
• Exotic Trade Reviewer ensures key economic terms of exotic trades are represented in the trade booking securities.
• Identify and highlight control gaps in trading and booking practices with 1st line of defence stakeholders.
• Serve as main point of contact for issues management and resolutions, including escalations.
• Regularly review utilized methodologies amidst dynamic market environment.
• Take ownership in change initiatives and implementations with Technology and Strats teams.
• Proactively identify process gaps for remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
