Job summary

Work For Prosper in Bacolod, Philippines seeks a detail-oriented bookkeeper for PropProtect's contracting services. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project-cost tracking within remodeling budgets.

The role requires a bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, CPA advantage, experience with cloud bookkeeping (QuickBooks Online or Xero), strong analytics, and excellent English. A stable day shift and reliable tech setup are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA status is a distinct advantage.
• Cloud bookkeeping experience; construction accounting or property maintenance tracking preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or project-tracking suites.
• Strong analytical capacity with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ready for a stable day shift.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, AP/AR for PropProtect contracting services.
• Track and reconcile material costs, subcontractor invoices, and labor vs budgets.
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial statements, cash flow, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with management to ensure timely payments to suppliers and field subcontractors.

• Direct day-to-day bookkeeping operations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable balances specifically for PropProtect's contracting services.
• Track, categorize, and thoroughly reconcile material costs, subcontractor invoices, and labor expenses against specific remodeling/maintenance project budgets.
• Execute regular, comprehensive bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Produce error-free monthly financial statements, cash flow tracking, and budget-vs-actual project variance analyses.
• Collaborate actively with company management to ensure timely payments to suppliers and local field subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA status or relevant certification is a distinct advantage).
• Strong practical foundation in cloud bookkeeping, with prior experience in construction accounting, general contracting, or property maintenance financial tracking highly preferred.
• Advanced operational proficiency working with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or modern specialized project-tracking suites.
• Rigorous analytical capacity matched with an extreme attention to detail and process logic.
• Excellent oral and written English interaction skills; fully prepared for a stable, productive day shift schedule.

Technical

• A reliable working laptop unit with good battery condition and webcam, with at least 8gb RAM and at least Core i3 (10" Gen), Core i5 (7" Gen) processor, AMD Ryzen 5, MacBook M2. or higher;
