Job summary

Maya is seeking a UX Researcher in the Philippines to uncover user needs and drive product development through rigorous research. You will conduct usability testing, ethnography, surveys, and competitive analysis to shape strategy and create empathy across teams.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers, developers, and marketers, translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve the overall customer experience and product usability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of in an applied research setting with product integration.
• Excellent research skills across a wide range of methods and triangulation.
• Ability to present findings to non-technical audiences with visual storytelling.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX/product teams on implementations.
• Digital banking and financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up research initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Execute studies using qualitative and quantitative methods to generate insights.
• Manage day-to-day user testing and build the insights library.
• Communicate findings creatively to designers, PMs, developers, and marketers.
• Advise on product usability trends and advocate for the customer experience.
