Job Title: Utility Helper - Water Station

A Utility Helper at a Water Station is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and maintenance of a water treatment or distribution facility. This role generally involves a mix of physical labor, equipment maintenance, and basic water quality monitoring tasks to ensure that the water station operates smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems (e.g., pumps, filtration systems, pipes).
• Monitor and assist with the addition of chemicals or disinfectants to the water, following prescribed safety protocols.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks around the water station, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, storage tanks, and work areas as needed.
• Assist in routine water sampling and testing for various contaminants, ensuring that water quality standards are met.
• Record and report water quality data to the supervisory team.
