Job Title: Utility Worker – Building Rentals

A Utility Worker in building rentals typically handles various maintenance tasks to ensure that the building and its systems are running smoothly.

Building Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections of the property, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and lighting.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of utility systems (e.g., water pipes, electrical wiring, heating/cooling systems).
• Ensure the building’s common areas (lobbies, hallways, bathrooms) are clean, functional, and well-maintained.

Cleaning and Janitorial Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Remove trash from common areas and ensure proper disposal.

Troubleshooting and Repairs

• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely manner.
• Diagnose issues related to plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems and repair them as needed.
