Job summary

Cosmetique Asia Corporation in Bulacan is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to operate and monitor utility systems including WTP/STP, chillers, pumps, and coding tower. You will ensure compliant operation and maintain records of wastewater parameters such as flow, BOD, COD, pH, and color.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with at least 1 year of experience and ability to report findings, monitor parameters, and operate STP equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to create reports, monitor parameters, and set up utility equipment, specifically in STP (pumps, fan blowers).
• With a basic understanding of wastewater treatment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Operation and monitoring of utility machines such as WTP/STP, chiller and pump, coding tower, compressor (LP & HP).
• Monitors the functional operation of the entire STP/WTP to ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitors the quality of effluent or discharged water from STP/WTP.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, adjustments, and troubleshooting of STP/WTP equipment.
• Maintain documentation and records of equipment operations and wastewater parameters – flow, BOD, COD, pH, color, and/other parameters as deemed applicable.
• Ensure that the equipment parts – drives, shafts, and all mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic auxiliaries are in good working condition.
• Repair the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems as well as perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor parameters set by the OEM.
• Maintain cleanliness at the WWTP area/perimeter.
