Job summary

Job description

GROW is currently looking for a USRN Clinical Coder to be placed for one of our clients in Taguig City.

Our client is a healthcare services company that provides integrated care solutions, including behavioral health, pharmacy, and complex care management who are based in BGC, Taguig City. They are offering P150,000 sign-in bonus, a hybrid setup and flexible schedule to ensure a work-life balance!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s in Nursing
• With active PHRN and USRN license
• At least 2-3 years of medical coding experience
• Must have one or more of the following valid certifications:

• ✓ Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• ✓ Inpatient Coding Credential such as CCS (AHIMA)-IP/OP
• ✓ Inpatient Coding Credential such as CIC (AAPC)
• ✓ RHIT or RHIA (preferred Certification) for US only
• ✓ Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
• Must have at least 1-2 years of hospital experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for auditing inpatient medical records to ensure clinical documentation supports the conditions and DRGs billed and reimbursed. Specializes in review of Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) paid claims.
• Analyzes and audits claims by integrating medical chart coding principles, clinical guidelines, and objectivity in the performance of medical audit activities.
• Draws on advanced ICD-10 coding expertise, mastery of clinical guidelines, and industry knowledge to substantiate conclusions.
