Job summary

IT BY DESIGN is seeking aTechnical Tax Accountant in the Philippines, onsite at BGC, Taguig. The role focuses on U.S. tax compliance, research, and financial reporting, collaborating with external tax advisers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in U.S. taxation, experience in public accounting, and strong Excel capabilities. The position offers onsite work with night shift schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of U.S. tax experience, preferably in a public accounting setting.

• Experience with U.S. state and local tax compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve monthly and quarterly state and local sales and use tax returns.
• Maintain Avalara configurations and tax jurisdiction settings.
• Prepare annual property tax returns and other filings.
• Research U.S. tax regulations affecting financial reporting.
• Support audits and respond to tax notices and inquiries.
