About the role
Provide day-to-day account management to less complex commercial property and casualty accounts. Includes new and renewal marketing, handling client questions and requests, and coverage review. Support Program Managers and Account Executives.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a dedicated operational partner, taking ownership of daily commercial insurance servicing activities with minimal supervision.
- Build and prepare insurance submissions for carrier marketing and quoting.
- Issue, manage, and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate policy renewals, including gathering required information, preparing renewal documentation, and tracking renewal timelines.
- Conduct marketing activities and carrier outreach to obtain quotes, coverage options, and underwriting information.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding items, carrier requests, renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
- Process policy transactions, endorsements, renewals, and servicing activities within the Epic management system.
- Maintain accurate policy and client documentation in Epic and agency document management systems.
- Partner with Account Executives and Program Managers to support account retention and client satisfaction.
- Manage day-to-day insurance operations, enabling leadership to focus on client relationships, complex insurance matters, agency growth, and strategic initiatives.
About you
- 3+ years of Commercial Lines insurance servicing, marketing, or account management experience.
- High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree required.
- Hands-on experience with Epic and commercial insurance renewal workflows.
- Experience managing certificates, submissions, carrier marketing, and policy servicing processes independently.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters for marketing, quoting, and policy servicing activities.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues while maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
