Job summary

Maya is seeking a Credit Underwriter to join our all-in-one money platform. You will evaluate lending policies, perform data analysis, and support risk assessment for underwriting decisions.

The ideal candidate has intermediate experience in banking or lending, with a focus on credit card underwriting and adherence to BSP regulations. You will work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver insights that influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any course related to Business Management and/or Statistics / Mathematics.
• 3-5 years of lending business experience in financial institution.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in credit card underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the business leaders in the achievement of business objectives specifically in the following functions: day-to-day credit operations.
• Regular and ad-hoc data analysis.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Evaluates policies with regards to the company’s underwriting standards.
• Prepare reports that detail risk assessment findings that contribute to the final decision.
