Job summary

Outsourced. ph is a leading ISO-certified Philippines offshore outsourcing company that provides dedicated remote staff to international clients. We are seeking a UK Qualified Accountant to join our team on a full-time, home-based basis.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for UK clients, prepare year-end accounts, handle AP and reconciliations, and work with UK tax knowledge; requires CPA/ACCA/ACA and 5 years post-qualification. Office hours align with UK time.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English for client-facing communication.
• Strong general accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Experience with AP, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Comfortable collaborating with UK-based clients via Slack, Outlook, and WhatsApp.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and prepare year-end accounts for UK clients.
• Engage in client communications via email, WhatsApp, and quarterly meetings.
• Support lead commercial property specialist on a large property client project.
• Handle accounts payable, supplier invoices and payment preparation.
• Perform bank, balance-sheet and control-account reconciliations.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and month-end closing.
• Maintain customer, supplier and tenant ledgers as applicable.
• Support billing, invoicing and financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
