Redstone Commodity Search is seeking an ETS sales trader to focus on the British market and join the team in Brussels. The role involves building a client network in the UK ETS space, developing sales strategies, and guiding trades from contact to execution. Regular travel is expected, and strong English communication skills are essential.

The position reports to the Head of Trading and is based in Brussels, offering exposure to European emissions markets and cross-border business development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as sales trader or account manager for EU ETS (CO2, N2O, PFCs) clients specifically operating in the UK market.
• Proven experience with sales/trading and business development and strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Full driving licence required due to regular travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and an entrepreneurial mindset; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a network of clients active in the ETS market (UK).
• Develop business in emissions trading through new sales strategies and market analysis.
• Meet with prospective customers to understand needs and onboard them.
• Oversee the trade lifecycle from first contact to final execution; work to expand UK market presence.
• Role reports into Head of Trading.
