Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Senior Proprietary Energy Trader to join the Energy team and focus on the long-term EU energy markets, negotiating and executing trades with established strategies.

You will manage risk exposure, ensure regulatory compliance, and refine trading strategies under the Head of Energy Trading, with opportunities across natural gas, power, and oil markets.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of international energy fundamentals.
• 3+ years of proprietary trading experience.
• Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Focus on trading the long-term EU Energy markets including analysing and seeking out new opportunities and trends.
• Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
• Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
• Refine, and develop trading strategies.
• Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
• Role reports to the Head of Energy Trading.
