Job summary

Diane Pendle, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support UK clients from a remote team. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with accuracy, using cloud-based tools and strong English communication.

The role requires hands-on Xero and DEXT experience, UK VAT familiarity, and at least two years in bookkeeping. You will collaborate with senior accountants to prepare monthly reports and ensure compliance for UK-based clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Xero with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.
• Proficient in DEXT for expense capture and processing.
• Strong IT skills and comfort with cloud-based accounting tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Holds UK AAT Level 3 or higher diploma or certification.
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Previous experience with UK-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for UK-based clients.
• Process and reconcile financial transactions in Xero.
• Use DEXT to manage receipts and invoices efficiently.
• Assist with VAT returns and UK compliance requirements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile accounts.
• Communicate regularly with UK clients via email and Slack.
• Work closely with senior accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.
