Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking a design-focused intern who will collaborate with designers, product managers and developers to conceptualise and prototype UI/UX solutions from the user’s perspective. You will align with platform design guidelines to generate professional output that is usable and compliant.

The role values self-starting, agile collaboration and data-driven decisions, with part-time options for 3 days a week and full-time internship preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in design or related field (e.g. interaction, visual communications).
• Strong understanding of e-Commerce and business design.
• Proficiency in at least two mainstream design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Strong critical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Adaptable, quick learner with open-minded attitude.
• Care deeply about user experience and business impact for Shopee and ecommerce ecosystem.
• Full-time interns preferred; part-time interns who can commit at least 3 days/week are welcome to apply.

• Understand platform design guidelines and generate professional digital output that is usable, compliant, facilitating the development
• Craft design solutions with functional, logical and interactive insights

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, IS, CS, or related Degree
• Good understanding of e-Commerce and Business Design
• Proficient in at least two mainstream design and collaboration tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Experience Design, Adobe Photoshop, inVisionApp, Flinto, Figma, etc)
• Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and agile working environment
• Good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills
• Adaptable, open-minded, quick learner
• Care deeply about user experience and business impact for both Shopee and the ecommerce ecosystem
• Full-time interns preferred
