APW Tech is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to enhance user experience across web and mobile platforms. You will conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, and craft interfaces that are both functional and visually engaging.
You will design responsive experiences, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain design documentation while applying user-centered principles to improve usability and overall UX.
The UI/UX Designer will focus on enhancing the overall user experience and interface across the project. Responsibilities include conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and designing interfaces that are both functional and visually engaging.
Conduct user research and gather insights through usability testing.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Design responsive web and mobile app experiences across relevant devices, platforms, screen sizes, and interaction patterns.
Work with project stakeholders to align designs with project objectives.
Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and specifications.
Apply user-centered design principles to improve usability and the overall user experience.
Ensure designs are responsive, adaptable, and consistent across web and mobile platforms.
Conduct thorough user research to understand the end-users' needs, preferences, and pain points across web and mobile contexts
Analyze user feedback to make data-driven design decisions.
Design wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma to communicate design concepts.
Create mobile-first and responsive prototypes where applicable.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability tests. UI/UX Design:
Apply platform-appropriate mobile design patterns while maintaining a cohesive cross-platform experience.
At least 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a solid portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating user interfaces for complex systems.
Demonstrated experience designing mobile applications or mobile-first experiences for iOS and/or Android, including responsive layouts, touch interactions, navigation patterns, and platform conventions.
A portfolio that includes mobile app design work, interactive prototypes, and examples of user-centered design decisions.
Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
Experience in designing for operations delivery, procurement, financial management, and enterprise applications.
A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability testing, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-platform design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
