Berry Virtual is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive interfaces for web and mobile across a remote team. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into engaging, usable designs.

The ideal candidate combines strong aesthetics with usability expertise, 3+ years in design, and hands-on experience with modern design tools. You will contribute to scalable design systems and advocate accessible solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accessibility and usability standards.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and InVision.
• Solid experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience collaborating with developers on user experience projects.
• At least 2 years in a senior or lead design role with hands‑on project contributions.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (EcmaScript, TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of responsive web interfaces that align with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including developers, engineers, and product managers—to gather user requirements and translate them into visually engaging and functional designs
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications to effectively communicate design intent
• Conduct and participate in usability testing, collect feedback, and refine designs based on findings
• Ensure design consistency across products through a shared UI component library and scalable design systems
• Maintain design integrity throughout the development lifecycle by working closely with engineering teams
• Communicate design rationale clearly and confidently across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Navigate complex, regulated development environments with attention to compliance and usability standards
• Stay informed on industry trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design solutions
• Provide regular updates, reports, and documentation of design progress, challenges, and achievements
