Job summary

Avensys Consulting Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Designer to translate SRS and requirements into production‑ready designs. You will work with BAs, developers and Product Owners to deliver accessible web and mobile interfaces with a strong Figma focus.

The role emphasizes creating reusable design systems, ensuring WCAG‑level accessibility, and aligning with client branding across enterprise projects. Prior experience in public sector or Singapore‑style delivery is advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant UI/UX design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including components libraries.
• Ability to independently interpret SRS, requirements and user stories.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility and design systems.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS/React, Angular Material, Bootstrap, Ant Design or SGDS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review SRS, requirements and user stories to create high‑fidelity Figma mocks, prototypes, flows and inventories.
• Design and maintain reusable Figma components and design systems across modules.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers and POs to validate workflows and incorporate feedback.
• Prepare annotated designs covering interactions, responsive states and handoff details.
• Ensure accessibility and branding compliance across web and mobile interfaces.

About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong hands-on experience in Figma and translating System Requirements Specifications (SRS) into intuitive, production-ready designs. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to deliver consistent, accessible, and technically feasible web and mobile interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Review SRS, functional requirements, and user stories to create high-fidelity Figma mockups, prototypes, user flows, and screen inventories.

• Design and maintain reusable Figma component libraries and design systems across different screens and modules.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and Product Owners to validate workflows, resolve requirement gaps, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.

• Prepare annotated designs covering interactions, responsive behaviour, loading, error, and empty states for effective developer handoff.

• Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards, client branding, and applicable guidelines such as WCAG 2.1 and SGDS.

What You Bring In...

• At least 3 years of relevant UI/UX design experience.

• Strong proficiency in Figma, including high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and component libraries.

• Ability to independently interpret SRS, functional requirements, and user stories.

• Strong understanding of responsive design, web and mobile conventions, accessibility, and design systems.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React, Angular Material, Bootstrap, Ant Design, or SGDS is an advantage.

• Experience in Singapore public-sector projects and Waterfall delivery environments is beneficial.
