Job summary

Pacificrose Shipping Services Inc. is seeking personnel for deck operations aboard tug vessels in the Cebu area. You will perform line handling during docking and undocking, maintain the deck, operate deck equipment, and stand watch to assist safe navigation.

The role includes supporting towing operations, securing and releasing tow lines, and maintaining accurate logs for compliance and safety, with duties performed under the supervision of the Mate or Captain.

Responsibilities

• Line Handling: mooring and tow lines during docking, undocking, and assisting operations.
• Deck Maintenance: cleaning, painting, chipping, and repairs to keep the deck in good condition.
• Deck Equipment Operation: operate winches, windlasses, and capstans and ensure equipment functions safely.
• Watchkeeping: stand watch on bridge or deck and assist lookout duties for safe navigation.
• Operational Support: assist tow operations, secure/release tow lines, and operate towing winches under supervision.
• Record Keeping: maintain logs of watch duties, maintenance tasks, and incidents and assist documentation for compliance.
