Job summary

The role emphasizes deep client relationships, travel as needed, and strong knowledge of estate planning and management trusts within a leading private bank.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in trust banking, with business development or account management.
• Knowledgeable about trust products, including estate planning and personal management trust.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; willing to travel.
• Completed one-year trust course or equivalent training preferred.

Job Mandate

Responsible for conversion of client requirements into sound and bespoke trust structures, and assist the RM in the deepening and growing of existing trust volume and relationship with clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing client circumstances, objectives, limitations/nuances with the end view of recommending the appropriate trust structure to the client.
• Ensures the trust structures are aligned with the client’s objectives.
• Ensures that the trust structures are attuned to changes in applicable laws, regulations and policies.
• Assist the RM in the deepening and growing of existing trust volume and relationship with clients.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

• With at least five (5) years experience and track record on trust banking particularly on business development or account management.
• Knowledgeable about the various trust products, with emphasis on estate planning, personal management trust (revocable and irrevocable), IMA etc.
• Has good presentation skills, willing to travel and is able to deliver the institutional goals both in terms of asset size and revenues.
• Has good communication skills and people skills that are needed for facilitating better relationships with clients and other partners of the bank.
• Having completed the one year trust course or its equivalent training is preferred.
