Job summary

E Purple T Holdings Corporation is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our Marikina-based automotive trades team. This full-time role focuses on maintenance, repair, and servicing of commercial trucks to ensure fleet safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with truck engines, transmissions, hydraulics, braking and electrical systems, plus proficiency with diagnostic tools. A valid license and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a truck mechanic or similar automotive trades role.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, braking and electrical systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools including computerised equipment.
• Valid driver's licence and knowledge of vehicle safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Physically fit to work in varied conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Trade qualifications in automotive mechanics desirable.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programmes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and commercial vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and testing tools
• Repair and replace defective engine components, transmission systems, braking systems, suspension, and other mechanical parts
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
• Perform welding, fabrication, and metalwork repairs as required
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed on each vehicle
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and repair estimates
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment and proper tool management
• Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as required

This is a full-time position based in Marikina Heights, Marikina City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of commercial trucks and heavy vehicles. • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics are highly desirable
• Experience with preventative maintenance programmes is preferred
