Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for operating a 6-wheeler truck.
• Preferably with professional driving experience.
• At least 2 years of experience driving trucks or similar vehicles.
• Familiar with Metro Manila and/or provincial routes.
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Physically fit to perform driving, loading, and unloading duties.
• Good driving record and responsible work attitude.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or extended trips when required.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate the assigned 6-wheeler company truck.
• Deliver products, equipment, materials, and documents to customers, job sites, branches, and other authorized locations.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
• Ensure all delivered items are properly secured during transportation.
• Assist in loading and unloading when required.
• Obtain delivery receipts, acknowledgments, and other required documents.

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Check tires, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, battery, and other essential vehicle components.
• Immediately report mechanical problems, damage, unusual sounds, or safety concerns.
• Keep the truck clean and properly maintained.
• Monitor fuel consumption and submit required fuel records.
• Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and required documents are properly maintained.

Safety & Compliance

• Observe all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Drive defensively and responsibly at all times.
• Observe company policies regarding speed limits, vehicle use, parking, and authorized routes.
• Never operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances.
• Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, or other incidents immediately to management.
• Use appropriate safety equipment when loading, unloading, or working at job sites.

Customer & Company Service

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior when dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Assist customers with delivery-related concerns when necessary.
• Protect company property and customer products while in transit.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company and customer information.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete delivery receipts, trip tickets, vehicle checklists, fuel reports, and other required documents accurately.
• Report daily trips, deliveries, and vehicle conditions to the immediate supervisor.
• Immediately report lost, damaged, or missing items.
• Maintain an accurate record of mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
