About the role

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join the team at Phils Global Vision Mfg., Inc. This is a full-time position based in San Pedro City, Laguna. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various routes, playing a vital role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This position is crucial to maintaining our logistics efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction through dependable delivery services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations according to delivery schedules and route plans
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring goods are properly secured and protected during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
• Meet delivery deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
