Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of treasury/cash management or loan administration.
• Strong knowledge of loan agreements, covenants and debt instruments.
• Experience with bank loans or credit facilities preferred.
• Willing to work under 1 year contract.

Job description

The Treasury Officer is responsible for supporting the project financing operations. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with loans agreements, maintaining strong banking relationships, monitoring loan portfolios, and supporting cash management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project financing process, including preparation and verification of documentary compliances for conditions precedent to initial drawdowns and conditions subsequent and covenants for subsequent drawdowns.

• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to all loan covenants and regulatory requirements.

• Establish and manage credit line facilities with partner banks, ensuring timely renewals and optimal terms.

• Monitor loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments, proactively identifying and mitigating delinquency risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, ensure compliance, and facilitate smooth loan operations.

• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the Meralco group on loan compliances, balances, portfolio status.

• Prepare and maintain up-to-date KYC documents for all bank accounts.

• Provide support to cash management process, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of cashflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• 3-5+ years experience in treasury, cash management, or loan administration

• Strong knowledge of loan agreements, debt instruments, and financial covenants

• Experience handling bank loans or credit facilities is highly preferred
