Job Summary
Treasury Loans Analyst is responsible for managing the organization’s loan portfolio, ensuring optimal cash flow, and supporting treasury operations related to borrowing, debt servicing, and financial risk management. This role works closely with finance, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to secure funding, monitor loan performance, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
Loan Management & Administration
- Manage the company’s existing loan portfolio, including term loans, credit lines, and other financing facilities
- Monitor loan balances, repayment schedules, and interest rates
- Ensure timely servicing of principal and interest payments
- Maintain accurate loan documentation and records
Treasury Operations
- Assist in cash flow planning and liquidity management
- Coordinate fund transfers related to loan disbursement and repayment
- Monitor daily cash positions to ensure sufficient funding for obligations
Financing & Banking Relations
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for loan applications and renewals
- Prepare required documentation for credit evaluation and loan processing
- Support negotiations of loan terms and conditions
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze loan structures, interest costs, and financial risks
- Prepare reports on debt positions, covenant compliance, and treasury activities
- Support financial forecasting related to borrowing and cash flow
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, loan covenants, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor financial ratios and covenants tied to loan agreements
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to debt and liquidity
Process Improvement
- Recommend process enhancements for treasury operations and loan management
- Support system improvements or automation initiatives related to treasury functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in treasury, banking, loans administration, or finance
- Strong knowledge of loan products, financial markets, and treasury practices
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of cash flow management and financial reporting
