Job summary

Metrobank seeks a Treasury Operations Specialist responsible for settling and processing all Treasury FX transactions, structured products and derivatives, following Bank policies and BSP regulations. You will manage fund transfers to Nostro accounts and settle transactions for foreign subsidiaries under the Bank's agreements.

You will gain exposure to FX, structured products, and derivatives, work with OPICS and trading blotters, and collaborate with multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or equivalent.
• Preferably with experience in settlements, foreign exchange, and derivatives transactions.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle settlement/processing and documentation of all Treasury FX transactions, structured products and derivatives in accordance with policies and BSP regulations.
• Ensure correct and timely fund transfers to and from Nostro accounts and settlements for subsidiaries with the Bank.

Position Title:

Treasury Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for handling the settlement/processing and documentation of all Treasury initiated foreign exchange (FX) transactions and structured products and derivatives transactions, in accordance with established policies of the Bank and related BSP regulations. Responsible for correct and timely implementation of fund transfers to and from various Nostro accounts; responsible for correct and timely settlement of transactions of foreign subsidiaries that have settlement agreement with the Bank.

Role Exposure:

• Advance your knowledge inforeign exchange transactions, structured products, and derivatives transactions
• Learn to matchdeal entries in OPICS (Treasury system) against Trading systems blotters/logs/tickets
• Engage with different business units and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or equivalent
• Preferably with experience in settlements, foreign exchange, foreign exchange, and derivatives transactions
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
