Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a treasury products specialist to service clients across foreign exchange, fixed income, and structured solutions. The role works with Institutional and Branch Banking sectors to provide treasury products and drive wallet share.

The candidate will deepen client relationships, expand the customer base, and deliver market updates and investment hedges. Strong communication and a fast-paced mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Treasury, Markets Sales or Trust Sales.
• Licensed Certified Treasury Professional or Fixed Income Market Salesman.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Services treasury needs: FX, fixed income, time deposits, and structures.
• Collaborates with Institutional Banking and Branch Banking as treasury provider.
• Deepens customer relationships to grow treasury wallet share.
• Expands dealing customers and products to grow business.
• Provides market updates, product briefs, and hedging solutions.
• Prepares client call, progress, and market feedback reports.

Job Summary:

• Services foreign exchange, fixed income, treasury time deposits, and structured solution requirements of clients (i.e. responding to inquiries, quotation, negotiation, documentation and closing of transactions)
• Works with Institutional Banking Sector as well as Branch Banking Sector as Treasury product provider to their managed accounts
• Deepens customer relationship to sustain or increase Treasury products wallet share of assigned customer portfolio.
• Expand number of dealing customers and/or products dealt to grow business.
• Provides customers market updates and forecasts, present product briefs as well as investment and hedging solutionsto generate business volume
• Prepares client call reports, progress and market feedback reports for regular submission to the Department and Division Head
• Coordinates with the relevant Treasury desk for applicable rates and spots transactions with the designated trader or with Structuring Department to close position
• Assists in after-sales requests of clients
• Ensure that all activities and transactions are compliant with internal policies and regulations
• Files, safe keeps and maintains customer files
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in Treasury, Markets Sales or Trust Sales
• A licensed Certified Treasury Professional or Fixed Income Market Salesman
