Job summary

MacroAsia Corporation is seeking an Accounting Analyst to monitor daily cash management, prepare financial entries, and document transactions. The role supports the Finance and Accounting Department, ensuring accuracy and internal controls across subsidiaries.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2+ years in Finance/Cost Accounting, and strong knowledge of IAS/PAS and IFRS/PFRS, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Familiar with IAS/PAS and IFRS/PFRS standards
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with government reportorial requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, PSE)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Monitors day-to-day cash management and treasury duties
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by analyzing account information
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Prepares balance sheets, income statements, and other reports to summarize financial status
• Maintains accounting controls by developing policies and procedures
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by analyzing account information
• Secures financial information by performing data backups
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Guides accounting assistants by coordinating activities and answering questions
