Job summary

Cleanfuel is hiring a Treasury Associate to support daily cash monitoring, reconciliation, and documentation for station transactions. The role focuses on ensuring accurate recording of sales and collections while promptly addressing discrepancies.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling time-sensitive financial records, with exposure to treasury or cash management and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in treasury, accounting, cashiering, cash management, reconciliation or similar is preferred.
• Background in handling daily sales, collections, or cash records is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily station sales, cash collections, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Perform daily reconciliation of reported sales against cash collections and records.
• Check and document cash shortages, overages, bank adjustments, and related entries.
• Monitor shortages and coordinate with station personnel for settlement.
• Prepare and update monitoring reports for cash collections and reconciliation results.
• Examine transactions to identify discrepancies or unusual cash activity.
• Coordinate with Operations Team to verify cash variances.
• Escalate significant shortages and irregularities to the appropriate team.
• Maintain organized records of reconciliation results and supporting documents.
• Assist Treasury and Financial Audit teams in investigating cash-related concerns.
• Ensure daily reconciliation tasks are completed accurately and on time.
