Job summary

Newfold Digital is a leading web technology company serving millions of customers globally. We seek a Finance/Accounting professional in the Philippines to perform bank reconciliations, posts, and treasury reporting, while supporting payment processing and daily cash balance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
• Experience with ERP accounting software.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office application skills.
• Excellent problem solving, financial, and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs bank reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Posts bank transactions.
• Back-up support for payment processing as required.
• Generates treasury and management reports as required.
• Updates treasury payment entries weekly.
• Assists in daily cash balance reporting.
• Assists in monitoring card balances.
• Adapts work hours to meet business needs.
• Works in alignment with the company’s core values.
• Follows company policies.
• Upholds ethical business practices to avoid risk.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Do & How You'll Make Your Mark.

• Performs bank reconciliation of assigned bank accounts
• Posts bank related transactions
• Provides back-up support in payment processing as needed in the team
• Provides various treasury and management reports as required
• Updating the payments in treasury report on weekly basis.
• Assist senior in Preparing the Daily Cash Balance Report
• Assist senior in Monitoring of Card balances
• Renders work hours with flexibility when required
• Conducts business in alignment with the company's core values
• Complies with the different policies set by the company
• Ensures that our company conducts business in an ethical manner at all times without putting anyone in a position of risk
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time

Who You Are & What You'll Need To Succeed.

• Must have Bachelor's or College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or any of its equivalent
• Must have at least 1 year of working experience in the same field
• Prior experience in Shared Service Centre or Multinational company experience is an advantage
• Must have experience with and knowledge of ERP accounting software
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Must have strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Must have excellent Microsoft office application skills
• Must have excellent problem solving, financial, and analytical skills
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
