Job summary

KEPCO Ilijan Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Finance professional to oversee cash planning, treasury management, and the preparation of management reports on treasury and tax activities. The role supports auditors, coordinates with departments, and safeguards accounting records at the Makati head office.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, tax filings, monthly/quarterly/annual tax reporting, voucher review, and assisting in tax audits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• With at least 2 years' experience in tax/treasury-related work.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in MS Excel; basic SAP navigation and reporting.
• Basic SAP skills with reporting functions.
• Willing to work at Makati Head Office.

Responsibilities

• In charge of cash planning and treasury management for the KEPCO Philippines Group.
• Regular monthly, quarterly and annual national tax reporting; assist with tax cases and audits.
• Prepare management reports on treasury and tax transactions and documentation for liquidation processes.
• Review voucher requests and issue memos on questionable requests.
• Respond to auditors' queries and coordinate with departments on accounting matters including SAP FI management.
• Safeguard accounting records, cash management and tax filing/payments documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries and assist in reporting to head office.
