Job summary

Variance Trading Corporation is seeking a field service engineer to install, test, commission, and inspect medical devices across hospital facilities in the Philippines. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site support for end-users, with responsibilities to prepare detailed service reports and coordinate with sales/product teams.

Willingness to travel to multiple client sites and countries may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Licensed engineer is an advantage.
• Experience with medical devices or healthcare equipment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or biomedical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel to hospital/client sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and inspect medical devices and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine technical checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and technical issues.
• Provide on-site technical support to hospital clients and end-users.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
