Job summary

Balik Kaanyag in Cagayan de Oro seeks a dedicated case manager to support vulnerable children. You will conduct psychosocial assessments, plan interventions, manage risk, and coordinate therapeutic activities with families and partners.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to help youths heal and achieve stable placements. Under supervision, you will document per agency standards, engage with caregivers, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to advocate for child voice and rights

Qualifications

• Degree in psychology, social work, early childhood development, education or similar (license an advantage but not required).
• Strong English and Bisaya communication skills (verbal and written).
• Familiar with basic IT tools.
• Good team players.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and intervention planning for youth and families.
• Coordinate Psychosocial and Trauma Intervention services with the care team.
• Facilitate group interventions and discharge planning.
• Develop individualized services for children and families/caregivers within evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain documentation per agency standards and legal requirements.
• Engage families/caregivers to ensure child voice, choice and participation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary Psychosocial and Trauma Intervention teams.
• Provide meeting minutes and communication plans for ongoing inclusion.
• Link clients with referral sources and community resources.
• Monitor effectiveness and efficiency of interventions with youth and families.
• Identify target behaviors and their functions.
