Private Advertiser is seeking a Transport Planner to optimize daily routing, scheduling, and execution of outbound deliveries and inbound freight across the network. The role emphasizes cost-effective carrier utilization, on-time delivery, and high vehicle fill rates while meeting customer SLAs.

The candidate should have 1+ year of hands-on transportation planning experience in logistics or manufacturing, with exposure to TMS and data analysis to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor routing, scheduling and execution of deliveries and inbound freight.
• Maintain 100% delivery performance from pickup to delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales and 3rd parties on delivery concerns.
• Monitor OTD and OTIF and update daily.
• Perform inventory and invoicing transactions as needed.

Job description

The Transport Planner is responsible for optimizing the daily routing, scheduling, and execution of outbound product deliveries and inbound freight movements across our manufacturing and distribution network. This role ensures cost-effective carrier utilization, on-time delivery performance, and optimal vehicle fill rates while maintaining compliance with customer SLAs and transport regulations.

The ideal candidate possesses 1+ years of hands-on transportation planning experience within a fast-paced logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment, utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and data analysis to drive transportation efficiency.

I. PLANNING:

1. Under the supervision of Immediate Superior, performs printing of picklist and a closely monitoring of all final printed picklist for pick-up and delivery schedule.
2. Maintain an accurate booking and scheduling of all printed picklist with correct requested delivery day.
3. Maintain a 100% delivery performance by closely monitoring per account from pick up day to delivery day.
4. Maintain and monitor Floating AR recon
5. Scheduling and clustering of route of BO for pull out by BO patrol.

II. DOING/EXECUTION:

1. Printing Picklist, Daily Pick-up receipt and Authority to Pull out of BO
2. Conducts routine check based on Daily Pick-up vs Printed Picklist/Invoice as follows:
   • a. Requested delivery day.
   • b. Quantity, CBM, Amount, PO reference, Invoice Reference.
   • c. Exact address for delivery
3. 100% Utilization of the Transport Planning Tool and the maintenance of data therein.

III. CHECKING/MONITORING:

1. Checking of picklist versus SAP delivery schedule
2. Checking of Daily pick-up receipt vs box count report and waybill
3. Checking of Printed Invoice and PO attached vs Daily pick up receipt.
4. Daily monitoring and updating of OTD and OTIF

IV. OTHERS:

1. Monitor and response on queries from internal and external in regards with delivery
2. Coordinate to Sales and 3rd party on delivery concerns.
3. Performs inventory and invoicing transactions as needed.

V. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE:

• Basic Transport Management Principles
• Basic Warehouse Procedures and Processes
• Basic warehouse procedure and process
• Knows how to us MS Applications proficiently

SKILLS:

• Ability to do numerical computations (basic arithmetic, algebra, etc.)
• Inter-personal skills
• Ability to construct simple comments/statements.
• Ability to present simple business cases
• Familiar in using any Transport Management System but knowledge in SAP.

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:
