Job summary

MED PLANET, a Lyon-based fieldwork agency and subsidiary of M3 Inc., is seeking an independent Project Manager to lead translations projects. You will manage multiple language-related initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and alignment with client expectations.

You will collaborate with the PM team and language professionals, maintain schedules, prepare quotes, and document progress. This contractor role emphasizes strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or language studies.
• 2+ years of localisation project management experience.
• Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor multiple language projects on time and within scope.
• Create and maintain project schedules reflecting SLAs and client requirements.
• Monitor progress and report challenges or successes.
• Maintain project documentation using SharePoint and other tools.
• Prepare quotes and invoices to generate revenue.
• Ensure adherence to PM standards in language services.
• Identify errors and report improvements to stakeholders.

MED PLANET provides high quality translations and transcription for healthcare fieldwork projects for the M3MR group.

Job Description

As a Project Manager in our translations department, you will be responsible for managing several language-related projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, meeting quality expectations and within scope. With effective written and verbal communication, you will help ensure the teams are clear on the scope and expectations of clients and that the clients are kept fully informed as to the progress and status of their projects. You will work closely with our project management team, language professionals, to seek guidance when required and ensure project success.

• Support in planning, execution, and monitoring several language-related projects simultaneously using project management tools to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Support in maintaining and creating project schedules, and timelines ensuring that they are in line with SLAs and achievable and that they reflect the clients' requirements and expectations.
• Monitor project progress on progress, challenges and/or successes throughout the project
• Support in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and communications, using document management software such as SharePoint, etc., to ensure that we have accurate records of our projects.
• Prepare quotes and invoices using project management software and accounting software to ensure that we generate revenue and meet our business goals.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures in project management to maintain our reputation for delivering high-quality language services.
• Identify errors and areas of improvement and report when needed to the relevant stakeholders.
• Support during meetings, documenting these when required and distributing minutes/actions to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, management, or language studies.
• 2 or more years of experience in managing localisation projects.
• Essential fluency in English. an additional language would be advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet our clients' needs and achieve our business objectives.
