Position: Training Supervisor – MNL

Role Purpose
The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day training operation of the Manila office, ensuring that new hires receive effective classroom and nesting training and are adequately prepared for a successful transition to the sales floor. The role supervises and develops Trainers, supports curriculum development and continuous improvement, conducts Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and implements upskilling initiatives. The Training Supervisor partners closely with the Global Training Head, Country Manager, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Sales/Operations to monitor training effectiveness, identify capability and performance gaps, and establish a feedback loop between hiring quality, training outcomes, employee retention, and post-training performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Operations
- Own the day-to-day MNL training program covering classroom training, nesting, trainee progression, and readiness for production.
- Oversee approximately four training classes per month, with an average of 20 trainees per class.
- Monitor attendance, assessments, completion, graduation, nesting performance, and readiness for transition to the sales floor.
- Ensure training delivery follows approved standards, processes, and methodologies, while identifying opportunities for local improvement.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders when trainee performance, attendance, readiness, or operational requirements require intervention.
2. Trainer Supervision & Development
- Directly supervise and develop four Trainers responsible for MNL training delivery.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor Trainer effectiveness and consistency.
- Conduct coaching, observations, calibrations, and regular performance discussions with Trainers.
- Identify Trainer capability gaps and create or recommend development actions.
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and learner-focused delivery.
3. Curriculum & Learning Development
- Develop, review, and continuously improve training curricula, lesson plans, learning materials, activities, assessments, and reinforcement programs.
- Use trainee, nesting, and production data to identify curriculum gaps and prioritize improvements.
- Ensure learning content remains aligned with business requirements, product/process changes, and learner needs.
- Recommend curriculum or methodology changes to the Global Training Head when global alignment or approval is required.
- Support refresher and reinforcement programs for identified performance gaps.
4. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) & Upskilling
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify knowledge, skill, behavioral, or capability gaps affecting performance.
- Differentiates genuine training needs from process, system, operational, leadership, or other non-training root causes.
- Recommend and implement appropriate training, refresher, coaching, or upskilling interventions.
- Partner with Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to validate the root cause and effectiveness of interventions.
- Track whether interventions result in measurable improvement.
5. Training Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain and analyze training performance data, including completion, assessment, graduation, nesting success, production readiness, and relevant early performance indicators.
- Monitor Trainer and class-level performance and identify trends, risks, recurring gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Connect training results with relevant business outcomes such as early performance, quality, sales performance, and early attrition.
- Prepare regular training reports and present insights, root causes, recommendations, and action plans to relevant stakeholders.
6. Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide feedback on hiring quality, trainee profiles, and recurring gaps observed during training.
- Partner with HR to identify relationships between training outcomes, employee quality, engagement, and attrition.
- Partner with Sales/Operations to identify post-training performance gaps and determine appropriate interventions.
- Work with the Global Training Head to align MNL practices with global training standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Serve as the local training point of contact for MNL operational and capability-building needs.
Candidate Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant BPO, Learning & Development, or Training experience.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or supervising Trainers, or equivalent training leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating multiple Trainers and training classes.
- Hands-on experience in classroom training and/or nesting.
- Experience developing, redesigning, or substantially improving training curricula and learning materials.
- Experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and identifying root causes of performance gaps.
- Ability to use training and performance data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Willingness to work 100% onsite in BGC, Taguig.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays when business requirements apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- International voice BPO experience.
- Experience in sales training or a sales-driven environment.
- Travel, airline, or related industry experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume training operations.
- Experience building, restructuring, or taking ownership of a training program.
- Background in adult learning, instructional design, or learning methodology.
- Experience with LMS platforms, training dashboards, or structured training analytics.
