Universally Speaking in Manila is seeking a Traditional Chinese LQA Tester with Japanese proficiency to join a fast‑paced, detail‑driven team. You will ensure linguistic quality across game content, report issues clearly, and develop test cases from inception to completion.

You’ll collaborate with translators and developers, own portions of the testing cycle, and contribute to global localisation standards while growing your expertise in LQA and translation technologies.

Qualifications

• You’re detail‑oriented and able to spot linguistic issues across languages.
• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading is a plus.
• Familiarity with translation systems and test case management tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Test games for linguistic quality and accuracy in Traditional Chinese and Japanese contexts.
• Report linguistic issues clearly using bug databases and track fixes.
• Write and refine test cases; collaborate with developers and fellow testers to improve localisation tests.
• Evolve into an LQA expert across indie titles to AAABlockbusters, owning parts of the testing cycle.
