• Requires 10+ years in Accounts Payable or Procurement transformation.
• Experience with B2B product-based businesses with Chinese suppliers.
• Experience with Australian businesses.
• Experience in supplier commercial negotiations around payment terms and MOQs.
• Proven track record delivering working capital improvement initiatives.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional transformation or supply chain initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an engagement strategy to improve supplier trading terms including payment terms and MOQs.
• Identify opportunities to improve working capital through supplier commercial arrangements.
• Engage suppliers to renegotiate trading terms per engagement strategy.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate within guidelines.
• Escalate complex supplier negotiations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate supplier engagement with COGS optimisation and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Work with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations to obtain approvals and align commercial decisions.
• Monitor negotiations and transformation activities against milestones and escalation frameworks.
• Track and report benefits from improvements to supplier trading terms.
• Maintain documentation of supplier commitments, terms, approvals, and implementation status.
• Identify risks and barriers to trading-term improvements and propose actions.
• Support continuous improvement in supplier management and working capital processes.
