Job Description
The Trade Analyst is responsible for providing valuation opinions and issuing trade reports in accordance with Import Verification Program (IVP) rules, country instructions, and internal quality standards. The role involves data analysis, document review, coordination with valuation centers and regional offices, and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant report issuance.
Responsibilities
- Provide valuation opinions using business rules, internal databases, and valuation methodologies
- Issue trade reports in line with IVP rules, country instructions, and QA standards
- Review and audit documentation, file administration, and valuation accuracy
- Coordinate with Valuation Centers, Regional Offices, and Contract Management Offices as needed
- Monitor case status, follow up on pending issues, and escalate high-risk or unresolved cases
- Record all case-related communications in the system
- Participate in team activities and uphold company ethics and integrity standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Trade, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Background in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or machinery-related industries
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet performance targets
