Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an entry-level Tools & Equipment Custodian in Tagum City, Philippines. You will support the equipment and tool-keeping process, ensuring accurate recording, safe use, and availability to engineering teams in North Davao.

You will manage tool room transactions in TBMS, perform regular inspections, coordinate testing with staff and contractors, and maintain AMS/ISO IMS compliance while contributing to a safe, well-organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year course, preferably BS Industrial Engineering.
• Entry-level position, no prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of tools: receiving, issuing, recording TBMS transactions.
• Audit tool room, vehicles, equipment for defects and safety.
• Coordinate testing of tools for staff and contractors.
• Facilitate maintenance, segregation of returned or new tools, approve replacements.
• Act as Safety Marshall and ensure ISO IMS & AMS compliance.

Power your future with AboitizPower.As Tools & Equipment Custodian, you will provide support in the area of equipment and tool-keeping to ensure all tools and work equipment are readily available, accurately recorded, maintained, and safe to use and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world.You will work closely with the North Davao Engineering Operations Department team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of specialized tools, including receiving, issuing, and recording all transactions in the Tools Borrowing Management System (TBMS)
• Conduct regular audits and scheduled inspections of the tool room, company vehicles, and heavy equipment to identify defects and ensure safety
• Coordinate the testing of tools and work equipment for both organic department personnel and contractors
• Facilitate maintenance, repair, and proper segregation of returned, newly delivered, and existing tools, setting aside damaged items or recommending replacements
• Act as the department's Safety Marshall to oversee workplace safety, coordinate with OSSHED, maintain administrative documents (such as purchase orders and liquidations), and ensure compliance with ISO IMS and Asset Management System (AMS) guidelines

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Demonstrates advanced capability in Specialized Line Tools, Equipment Operations, and Tool Room Operations (Level 4)
• Possesses exceptional skills in Tool Room Transaction Records Administration (Level 4) to accurately process systems and maintain updates
• Exhibits proficiency in Distribution Line (Level 1) and Transmission Line (Level 2) Construction and Maintenance to manage risks and support field operations
• Shows strong dedication to maintaining high safety, environmental, and asset management standards in alignment with ISO IMS guidelines

• Must be a graduate of any four-year course, preferably BS Industrial Engineering
