Job summary

Taural India is seeking a tooling specialist to support tool setting, movement, and setup changes, including NPD tool assembly, transfer, and prove-out. The role emphasizes maintaining tool life, coordination with procurement, and supplier follow-up to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC operations and is proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP. A focus on 5S and continuous improvement will be essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tool setting, movement, and setup change support; ensure tool availability and minimize machine stoppage.
• NPD tool assembly, transfer, and prove-out.
• Tool cleaning and maintenance coordination.
• Tool life monitoring and improvement.
• Inventory management and monthly stock checks.
• Tool procurement coordination with purchase.
• Supplier handling for tool issues and regrinding follow-up.
