Job description

The Product Manager, Token Lifecycle Management is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing tokenization and digital wallet capabilities across the Bank's Debit and Credit Card digital payments portfolios. The role translates business objectives into customer-centric payment solutions by identifying market opportunities, developing business cases, managing partner integrations, and delivering product initiatives that drive token adoption, digital payment utilization, transaction growth, customer engagement, and business performance across both portfolios.

The role owns the end-to-end token lifecycle, including token provisioning, activation, usage growth, retention, and optimization, while working closely with card schemes, wallet providers, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and compliance with regulatory, security, risk, and card scheme requirements. As part of the Bank's commitment to launch and support Apple Pay, Google Pay and other "X-Pays" the role is responsible for delivering and managing tokenization capabilities required under Apple and card scheme requirements, ensuring compliance with wallet ecosystem standards, operational readiness, partner coordination, and successful customer adoption. The role is also responsible for supporting tokenization capabilities for all X-Pays and other current and emerging digital wallet ecosystems to accelerate digital payment adoption across both Debit and Credit Card portfolios.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of tokenization products and capabilities across Debit and Credit Card portfolios, including feature development, performance monitoring, customer adoption initiatives, enhancement prioritization, and partner coordination to drive usage, customer value, and business outcomes.
• Drives adoption and utilization of tokenized payment capabilities, mobile wallets, and digital commerce solutions across Debit and Credit Cards through customer experience enhancements, engagement initiatives, portfolio analytics, and performance optimization activities that increase payment activity and customer value.
• Serves as the primary business owner for X- Pay token lifecycle management, working closely with Apple, Google, card schemes, token service providers, and technology partners to deliver token provisioning, activation, lifecycle maintenance, customer adoption programs, performance monitoring, and capability enhancements that maximize X-Pay usage, customer experience, and business value across Debit and Credit Card portfolios
• Leads the end-to-end lifecycle management of X-Pays across Debit and Credit Cards, ensuring successful delivery, operational readiness, lifecycle optimization, and compliance with Apple, Google, card scheme, governance, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures X-Pay and tokenization initiatives comply with X-Pay requirements, card scheme mandates, regulatory requirements, and the Bank's governance, risk, security, and operational standards. Monitors token provisioning, activation, usage, retention, customer feedback, and business performance metrics to identify opportunities for lifecycle optimization, increased digital wallet adoption, and sustainable growth across Debit and Credit Card portfolios.
• Coordinates and aligns stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, card schemes, Apple, Google, token service providers, and external partners to support token provisioning, customer activation, lifecycle maintenance, issue resolution, and adoption initiatives that maximize X-Pay performance and customer engagement.
• Monitors token lifecycle performance metrics including token provisioning, activation, active token penetration, tokenized transaction volume, customer retention, and wallet usage to identify growth opportunities, optimize customer value, and maximize the business impact of X-Pays across Debit and Credit Card portfolios.
