Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder with strong experience in stainless steel welding for construction and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG/GTAW welding works in accordance with project specifications, welding procedures, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG/GTAW welding on stainless steel materials

• Perform welding works based on approved drawings, specifications, and welding procedures

• Prepare, fit-up, align, and clean materials prior to welding

• Ensure proper welding technique, quality, and workmanship

• Inspect finished welds and perform necessary corrections or repairs

• Operate TIG welding machines and related tools and equipment safely

• Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition

• Coordinate with the Foreman, QC, and other project personnel regarding welding activities

• Follow all project and company safety rules and procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

About you

• Proven experience as a TIG/GTAW Welder, preferably in construction, fabrication, or industrial projects

• Experienced in TIG welding of stainless steel

• Valid WQT (Welder Qualification Test) for Stainless Steel / GTAW

• Knowledgeable in stainless steel welding procedures and proper TIG welding techniques

• Able to read and understand welding drawings and work instructions

• Willing to be assigned to a project/site

• Capable of performing welding work in a construction/industrial environment

• Safety-conscious and able to strictly follow site safety requirements

• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Good teamwork and communication skills
