Qualifications

• Proven TIG/GTAW welding experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Experience welding stainless steel to project specs and procedures.
• Valid WQT for Stainless Steel / GTAW.
• Ability to read welding drawings and follow work instructions.
• Willing to be assigned to a project/site and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG/GTAW welding on stainless steel materials.
• Weld per approved drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Prepare, fit-up, align, and clean materials before welding.
• Ensure quality workmanship and welding technique.
• Inspect welds and perform repairs as needed.
• Operate TIG welding machines and related tools safely.
• Maintain welding equipment in good condition.
• Coordinate with Foreman, QC, and project personnel.
• Follow project and company safety rules.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
