Job summary

Smart Communications, Inc. is seeking a cyber threat intelligence professional to support PLDT Group’s security posture.

The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence to protect against emerging threats and to strengthen cyber resilience. You will conduct proactive threat hunting across PLDT’s environments, collaborate with Internal Cybersecurity Operations and Incident Response, and produce concise reports for security teams and senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing cyber threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
• Experience with OSINT and threat intelligence platforms.
• Ability to create clear, concise, and actionable threat intelligence reports.
• Collaboration with Cyber Security Operations and Incident Response teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze cyber threat intelligence from internal and external sources, including OSINT and threat intel platforms.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across PLDT’s networks to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and IOCs.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response, and other stakeholders to integrate threat intelligence into detection and defense strategies.
• Utilize threat intelligence tools and platforms and ensure integration with SIEMs and incident response platforms.
• Produce clear threat intelligence reports detailing trends, risks, and mitigation recommendations for security teams and leadership.
• Keep abreast of emerging threats and apply intelligence practices to improve detection and response.
