Job summary

Acquire Intelligence Philippines Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst to protect our information systems and data from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement security measures to safeguard digital assets.

You will monitor security systems, perform vulnerability assessments, and analyze logs to detect breaches. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work with IT teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or similar role.
• Solid understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption).
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and network infrastructures.
• Understanding of attack vectors and threat intelligence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, GSEC) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses.
• Analyze security logs and event data to detect and investigate breaches.
• Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Administer and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into design, development, and deployment.
• Educate employees on security awareness and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with latest threats, trends, and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and security posture.
