Job summary

Acquire Intelligence Philippines Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst to protect our information systems from cyber threats. You will identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement security measures to safeguard digital assets.

You will monitor security systems, conduct assessments and pentests, analyze logs, and develop security policies. Strong communication and the ability to work with IT teams are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or similar role.
• Solid understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption).
• Experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux and network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential incidents.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• Analyze logs and event data to detect breaches and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Administer security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into design and deployments.
• Educate employees on security awareness.
• Stay up-to-date with threats and technologies.
• Prepare detailed security incident and vulnerability reports.
