Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Cebu City, Philippines seeks an engineer to sustain a diverse product range and drive COST reduction, SFV, and yield improvements while ensuring quality and strong cross-functional communication across divisions.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor testing methodology.
• Knowledge of products like Automotive, MCUs, Smart Power devices, Data Storage, Analog, Sensors, MEMS.
• Familiarity with tester equipment such as SPEA, Microtest, Advantest V93K/EXA, Diamond-X.
• Experience with handler operations (Instrip, gravity-fed, pick and place).
• Strong statistical analysis skills.
• Experience in Failure Analysis and Characterization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate COST Reduction, SFV and Yield improvement activities to maintain %SFV to WWS performance aligned with CORA.
• Maintain a zero-defect mindset and QUALITY focus.
• Drive capacity improvements and test flow optimization; manage hold inventory, rates and cycle time.
• Establish regular communication with Division and internal stakeholders.
• Perform product/test qualification and release to production of new products.

YOUR ROLE

As an engineer, you will be responsible in sustaining a diverse range of products and are expected to

• Initiate COST Reduction and/or SFV and Yield improvement activities to maintain %SFV to WWS performance aligned w/ CORA
• QUALITY - oriented, possesses Zero Defect mindset
• SERVICE - Drive for capacity improvement projects like test time reduction and test flow optimization. You are also required to drive hold inventory, rate and cycle time improvement
• Establish regular communication with Division and Internal stakeholders
• Perform product/test qualification and release to production of new products
