Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a capable electronics engineer to provide Test NPI support, set up and run test and finishing equipment for NPI builds, and participate in a 24/7 support rotation where required.

You will follow detailed procedures, record results, assist with qualification and validation programs, and maintain a clean, safe work area while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or with experience in semiconductor manufacturing or testing.
• Ability to follow procedures and record results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor test and finishing equipment for NPI builds.
• Execute test plans and procedures including GR&R and stability checks.
• Support qualification and validation programs like OCEAN, MEMS, and Bragi.
• Record results and equipment status in required systems.
• Complete shift handovers and communicate issues.
• Follow EHS and quality requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and perform basic maintenance.

YOUR ROLE

• Provide Test NPI support across assigned shifts, including participation in a 24/7 support rotation as required.
• Set up, operate, and monitor test and finishing equipment for NPI builds, qualifications, engineering trials, and related activities.
• Execute test plans and approved procedures, including program qualification, Bin 1 checks, gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R), and stability checks.
• Support qualification and validation activities for programs such as OCEAN, MEMS, APMS Golden Flow, Bragi, Mario, Atomos, Rainbow Oceans, and Rainbow3.
• Assist with test and process troubleshooting; identify abnormal results or equipment issues and escalated promptly to the appropriate engineer.
• Support engineering changes, NPI build execution, qualification follow-up, and release-readiness activities.
• Record test results, equipment status, and work performed accurately in the required systems and logs.
• Complete shift handovers to ensure continuity of work, communicate open issues, and reduce missed steps between shifts.
• Follow work instructions, quality requirements, EHS procedures, and equipment-control standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support basic equipment checks and routine maintenance, as authorized.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor of Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent
• Fresh graduate or w/ experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product testing, equipment operation, or a similar technical environment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately record results.
• Basic troubleshooting, computer, and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and support a 24/7 operating schedule, where required.
