Job summary

SID Global Solutions is seeking a Test Manager to lead and coordinate testing activities across projects, directing Test Leads, Analysts, Engineers, and Automation roles. Ensure adherence to testing processes and governance.

You will work with the Test Delivery Manager to align plans, manage risks, and report metrics; require extensive testing leadership and ISTQB certifications in a hybrid delivery context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years in a Test Manager role.
• Experience managing hybrid teams (internal and vendor resources).
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Jira-Xray, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Demonstrated success in managing testing for large-scale, cross-functional projects or programs.

Job description

The Test Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all testing activities within a designated project or delivery unit. This includes managing test teams, ensuring adherence to defined testing processes, and maintaining visibility into test progress, risks, and resource needs. This includes managing ALL test resources within the project, which will include Test Leads, Test Analysts, Test Engineers, Test Automation Architect, Performance Test Engineers, and Test Automation Analysts. Drive the identification and prioritization of manual test cases for automation and provide strategic requirements to the Test Automation Architect to support scalable and efficient test execution. The assignment of this role is determined by the complexity and scale of the delivery effort—particularly when multiple test teams are engaged across programs or projects—requiring focused leadership and structured oversight. The Test Manager works in close partnership with the Test Delivery Manager from the Test Administration team to align project-level execution with enterprise-wide testing strategies, governance standards, and quality objectives set by TCOE. This collaboration ensures consistent delivery, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the testing lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

Delivery Team Test Management Responsibilities

1. 1. Comply with the ITG Quality Framework established by TCOE
2. 2. Ensure Test Process are followed according to the SDLC and TCOE Test Process
3. 3. Collaborates with Project Managers, ITSD Unit Heads, Development Leads across Unit/Project team to ensure quality delivery and gather resource demands
4. 4. Provide guidance on Test Leads, supervise test teams to ensure consistency in implementing Test Process
5. 5. Gather and report Test Status and represent the Test Team in meetings within and across the Units
6. 6. Identify Risks and Mitigation plan.

Collaborate with Test Administration Team - Test Delivery Manager to:

• Align project-level test plans with the Master Test Plan and strategic test objectives.
• Provide input for test estimates and resource requirements during project planning.
• Ensure compliance with TCOE standards and audit requirements.
• Participate in risk escalation and SWAT interventions when delivery risks are identified.
• Share test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics for centralized reporting.
• Resolve shared environment and test data conflicts across concurrent projects.
• Adopt best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives led by the Test Admin team.

Work Experience
